Normalizations

This feature allows the user to normalize wells with a user created funtion. The user can write the formula and assign each variable to a variable available in the database.

Step 1

Define Normalization name and write formula.

Step 2

Assign variables to formula.

Step 3

Save formula.

Step 4

Select Normalization and group of wells to apply the formula.

Step 5

After applying normalization a new group will be created with its original name plus “-NormalizationName”

For each well its rates will be normalized using the formula defined in step 4:

• qo_norm = qo * f(x)
• qg_norm = qg * f(x)
• qw_norm = qw * f(x)

With the normalized rates, each cumulative and ratio are calculated
